Short answer: PixPack can rotate images by 90°, 180° or 270° as part of the compression pipeline, so orientation is corrected in the same export.
Overview
Rotation was added in version 1.4.3 and runs as part of the compression pipeline rather than as a separate operation.
How rotation works
The rotation control offers 0°, 90°, 180° and 270°. The selected rotation is applied to every image in the batch during export, alongside compression, conversion and resize.
When rotation is useful
- Photos taken in the wrong orientation
- Scanned documents that came out sideways
- Assets that need a consistent orientation across a folder
Rotation and dimensions
Rotating by 90° or 270° swaps the width and height of the image. If you are also setting a maximum width and height, apply the rotation with that in mind.
